Yes. All SGM pool finishes come with a standard 1-year limited warranty against material failure. If an issue is verified to be a material defect, SGM will provide the materials needed to repair the affected area.
You can also activate an extended residential/commercial warranty by completing our online warranty registration within 30 days of installation. Extended coverage varies by product line:
The warranty covers material defects only. It does not cover workmanship, labor, improper water chemistry, structural issues, physical damage, color variation, or problems caused by misuse, environmental events, or improper start-up procedures. To keep the warranty valid, pool water must be tested and documented monthly by a reputable company using a computerized system.

Most pool finish installations are completed in one day, depending on pool size, design complexity, weather, and jobsite access. After the finish is applied, the pool is filled immediately and must remain filled without interruption.
Once full, the start-up process begins. According to NPC guidelines, proper water balancing and brushing are essential during the first few days. In most cases, you can typically use the pool within about 3 days, once the initial chemistry and brushing steps are complete.
General timeline:
Your installer can provide a more precise schedule based on your specific pool.
The cost of a pool finish can vary widely because it depends on several factors: your geographic area, the contractor you choose, the type of finish, and whether you're doing a new build or a refinish. Labor rates, local material costs, pool size, design complexity, and regional market conditions all play a major role.
Because of these variables, the best way to get an accurate price is to request quotes from reputable installers in your area. They can evaluate your pool, discuss finish options, and provide estimates tailored to your project.
SGM products are available nationwide, so local professionals can help you choose the right finish and give you the most accurate cost for your location.
