INSTALLATION

SURFACE PREPARATION

Remove all loose and deteriorating plaster. Cut edges square and undercut for mechanical key. Remove all algae, scale, oil, and contaminants. Dampen substrate but leave no standing water. On drained pools, prime with cement slurry for best bond.

MIXING

Add clean potable water to dry mix until a trowelable, putty-like consistency is achieved. Mix until uniform with no lumps. Do not over-add water. Do not retemper.

APPLICATION

Apply with steel trowel or pointed tool. Pack firmly to eliminate voids. Finish to match surrounding pool surface texture. For repairs deeper than 3/4″, apply in layers. For underwater repairs, pack firmly and hold until initial set. Minimum 1/4″ depth throughout. No feathered edges.

CLEANING

Clean tools immediately with water before material sets. Cured material can only be removed mechanically.

CAUTION

Alkaline on contact with water. Avoid eye and skin contact. Contains Portland cement. Read all safety data prior to use. Keep out of reach of children.

CURING

Quick initial set to minimize downtime. Allow full cure before returning pool to service. Cooler temperatures extend cure time.

SHELF LIFE

12 months unopened. Store in a cool, dry location protected from moisture. Do not freeze.
